Privacy Policy

Last updated : 23 July 2026

Archive 18 is designed to store private information. This policy explains the data processed, the choice between local and cloud storage, and user rights.

1. Data controller

Benoît Rouyer, an individual in the process of setting up a business. Trading name: Archive 18 Contact: app@axiocoach.fr Website: https://axiocoach.fr

2. Data processed

Depending on use: email or Apple identifier, account ID, preferences, profiles and aliases, encounters, dates, places, notes, ratings, information about intimate life or orientation, photos and captions, subscription status, support messages, technical data and error logs.

The PIN is protected locally. Face ID is managed by iOS and Archive 18 receives no biometric data.

3. Guest and account modes

In guest mode, data remains on the device, subject to system backups chosen by the user. In account mode, selected data may be encrypted, backed up and synchronised through cloud infrastructure. The app identifies features requiring transfer before activation.

4. Special-category data and consent

Information about sex life or sexual orientation is sensitive data. Cloud backup relies on explicit consent separate from general acceptance of the terms. Consent may be withdrawn without affecting prior lawful processing. Users must ensure they are authorised to record third-party data.

5. Purposes and legal bases

Data is used to provide the app, back up and sync on request, authenticate users, secure access, manage subscriptions, restore purchases, provide support, fix errors and meet legal duties.

Legal bases: contract performance, explicit consent for sensitive data transferred to the cloud, legitimate interests in security and diagnostics, and legal obligations where applicable.

6. Providers and recipients

Depending on features used: Apple (distribution, sign-in and payments), RevenueCat (subscription status), Lovable Cloud/Supabase or equivalent infrastructure (authentication, database and storage), hosting and diagnostic providers. They receive only the data needed for their role. Archive 18 does not sell personal data.

7. Photos and confidentiality

Photos are never published automatically. Access inside the app is protected by the configured lock. Any export or sharing to a third party follows a user action and is then governed by that service’s rules.

8. Retention and deletion

Account data and content are retained while the service is used or until deleted. After account deletion, active data is erased or anonymised within 30 days unless legally required; residual backup copies may remain temporarily until overwritten. Support data and purchase evidence are retained as needed for handling and legal duties.

9. Security and transfers

Reasonable safeguards include access controls, encryption in transit and appropriate storage protection. No system is absolutely secure. Providers may process data outside the EEA using required safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

10. Rights

Users may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, portability and consent withdrawal at app@axiocoach.fr. They may also complain to the CNIL (cnil.fr) or their local authority. Account deletion is available in the app and explained at https://axiocoach.fr/suppression-compte/archive18
